The journey began with the launch of the CMAAA portal on 23rd September 2023, providing a transparent and efficient platform for applicants to register. The portal saw overwhelming participation with 2,29,145 applicants registering in a short span, reflecting the enthusiasm for self-reliance and growth opportunities.
On 8th December 2023, the application submission process under the CMAAA opened. With an impressive 1,04,092 applications submitted, this demonstrated the strong response and interest from citizens eager to participate and benefit from the initiative.
The next critical step began on 28th February 2024, with the start of interviews for potential CMAAA beneficiaries. This rigorous process ensured that deserving individuals were selected for support, contributing to the fairness and success of the scheme.
The first batch of 100 beneficiaries saw the disbursement of financial aid on 15th March 2024. This marked a significant milestone in the program, as it enabled the beneficiaries to kickstart their entrepreneurial ventures and skill development journeys.
By 31st August 2024, the interview process was completed and the program moved to the next phase with thousands of beneficiaries being identified for training and financial support.
The training program for selected beneficiaries commenced on 15th September 2024, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to help them excel in their respective fields.
A major milestone was achieved with the disbursement of aid to the second batch of over 25,000 beneficiaries on 30th September 2024. This large-scale financial support further solidified the program's impact, empowering more individuals to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.

Disbursement of Fund through DBT/DD mode to the Eligible Applicant.
❖ Provide self employment to all categories of educated youth through suitable mechanism.
❖ Create entrepreneur-oriented ecosystem in the state of Assam.
❖ Generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas through setting up of new/existing ventures.
❖ Provide financial assistance to enterprising individuals and groups to undertake new/existing economic activities.
❖ Strengthen the State Government's special focus on rural economy.
❖ The applicant should be permanent resident of Assam and should be above 28 years and below 45 years as on 1st April, 2024.
❖ The applicant should possess the minimum educational qualification as indicated below -
❖ The applicant should possess skills, experiences, knowledge to undertake the income generating activities.
❖ The applicant should have a Scheduled commercial bank account, which has been opened before 1st April 2024.
❖ The applicant should not have defaulted any loan taken from any scheduled commercial Bank in the past.
❖ Not more than one member from any household shall be eligible to be a beneficiary under this scheme. For the purpose of the scheme, family mean Husband, Wife, Brother and Sister.
❖ The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange.
❖ The applicant must not be a beneficiary of CMAAA 1.0
Following documents are required at time of applying for the scheme-
❖ Any of the following Identity/address Proof - Aadhaar /voter Id/Passport/Driving license.
❖ Proof of Educational Qualification.
❖ First page of active Bank account Passbook (Name in the bank passbook should be the same as the ID card submitted).
❖ PAN Card.
❖ Employment Exchange Registration Card.
❖ Only the registered applicants are eligible for applying for the Scheme “Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0”.
❖ To apply in "Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0", registered applicants need to click the “Apply for Scheme” option.
❖ Registered applicants have to fill up all the necessary details, upload required documents as applicable.
❖ Registered applicants have to upload the project report based on the selected Sector/Sub-Sector.
❖ After successful submission an acknowledgement slip is generated along with a reference number, with the help of which a registered applicant can track the status of the application. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
❖ A registered applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant's application reference no.
❖ If the applicant is found eligible the same will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.
